Scholarship Announcements

·       The TJ Elder Comprehensive High School Class of 1970 Scholarship is now available.  Deadline is April 14, 2017. See the Scholarship Carousel in the Counselors’ office for more details.

·       The Alan W. Layton Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications.  Deadline is April 1, 2017. See the Scholarship Carousel in the Counselors’ office for more details.

·       The Jefferson Energy Cooperative is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to graduating high school seniors who live in JEC’s service territory, are a member of a household electrically served by JEC and plan to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school in the United States. ·       The David Skinner/Georgia Development Authority College Scholarship Application is now available. Deadline is the first Monday in May.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Dr. Lydia B. Pool Scholarship provided by the Mu Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa is offering a $400 scholarship to a student planning for a career in Education.  The deadline is March 31.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Washington County Young Sportsman Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications. A $500 scholarship to further your education is available.  Deadline is March 24, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Active Arts Dance Scholarship is now accepting applications. You must have been enrolled in dance for 4 years.  Deadline is April 17th.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Class of 2013 “Amore Antoinette Brown Book Scholarship” is awarding at least one $500 book scholarship.  The deadline is April 3, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       East Georgia State College has a scholarship opportunity for students who will be attending the Swainsboro campus. The Correll Scholarship Program will award twenty $5,000 scholarships.  Deadline is March 31, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Georgia Southern University Foundation Scholarship is now available.  The deadline is March 31, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications.  The $2,500 scholarship is based on need. Deadline is March 31, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

·       The Sandersville-Tennille Optimist Club is now accepting applications for their book scholarship.  The deadline is April 17, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel for more details.

Parking permits are now being sold in the Counselors' Office. In order to purchase a parking permit, students need:
  • a valid driver's license (Class C or Class D)
  • Tag number
  • $10.00
