Announcement

*There will be a parents’ meeting for girls interested in going out for the gymnastics team on Wednesday Dec. 14th at 6:00 in the evening in the cafeteria.  The purpose of the meeting is to explain the requirements to be on the team and the out of pocket expenses that will be involved. 

 

*FCA and BETA Club will be conducting a Food and Supplies Drive

to help out people in need during the holiday season.

Donation Boxes will be in your first period teacher’s classroom.

Deadline is December 9th.

The 1st period class with the most donations will receive donuts!!

No canned foods can be brought through metal detectors.

Please see suggested list for boxed, packages and paper product ideas.

 

*All boys interested in playing soccer needs to see Mr. Wilcher in room 248

 

*All girls interested in playing soccer see Coach Andrews during lunch.

SCHOLARSHIPS

 

·         Washington EMC’s 2017 Walter Harrison Scholarship is now available. Deadline is January 10, 2017.  See the Scholarship Carousel in the Counselors’ office for more details.

·         The Georgia Mining Foundation 2017 Scholarship Program is available to assist worthy students in Georgia with college tuition.  There are 3 different scholarship applications –

o   technical colleges in Georgia $350;

o   accredited college or university in Georgia $500;

o   attending GA Tech, Mercer University or Kennesaw State University $4,000.  See the Scholarship Carousel in the Counselors’ office for deadlines and more details.

Parking Permits

Parking permits are now being sold in the Counselors' Office. In order to purchase a parking permit, students need:
  • a valid driver's license (Class C or Class D)
  • Tag number
  • $10.00

Infinite Campus Mobile App

Infinite Campus has a free app for parents. To install on your mobile device, just follow these steps:
1. Download the app - Download the Infinite Campus mobile portal app from any of the following app stores: iTunes, Google play, or Amazon app store for Android.
2. Launch the campus app and enter your District ID: ZCSBQQ
3. Enter the portal account and sign in - Enter your Campus portal username and password and select log in/sign in.
